Our Mission... The Mission of Favorite Foods is to provide quality products, superior service and innovative solutions to a select group of Customers, and to make a significant contribution to their success. We strive to create mutually profitable long term relationships with our Customers, Employees, and Suppliers, and to enhance the communities we are privileged to serve. Our Pro-Independent Philosophy... Nearly 10 years ago, Favorite Foods began taking steps to help its customer base, the independent restaurants, prepare for the onslaught of national chains that were coming to our area.  This preparation included consulting its customers on the latest trends in restaurant design, menu design, and consumer tastes as well as providing tips on inventory management, costing, and business development.  Customer seminars, regular newsletters and briefs, one on one consultations, and periodic training events were the means by which this education occurred in the early days.  Within the last few years, however, more impactful steps have been taken as Favorite Foods created FIRA, the Favorite Independent Restaurant Association. Managed by Favorite Foods, but driven by an advisory board of independent restaurant owners, the association is thriving and growing each day.  The goals of the association are to help its member restaurants market themsleves better, purchase goods and services better, and continually improve the quality of their restaurants.  It is imperative to their survival that they keep in step with the standards being set by the national chains. Our Pledge to You... Our ongoing commitment to the success of the independent restaurant is exemplified not only through the consultative selling approach our representatives take, but also through the money saving programs and business building services we make available to our customers.  We offer rebate management for all customers, and work diligently day in and day out to ensure our customers have access to as many programs as are available to them.  In addition, all of our customers are invited to tap into our business resources for assistance in menu costing, new menu development, and other marketing support projects.
